Rega Planar 2 er, over de sidste to år, udviklet sideløbende med den netop introducerede Planar 3.

Planar 2 benytter sig af den helt nye RB220 tonearm, der har fået en række af nye features der virkelig booster performance i forhold til tidligere modeller.

En ny 24v motor med ekstrem lavt støjniveau, acryllamineret plinth, nydesignet centerleje og en masse andet er standard på dette kup af en pladespiller.

VERDICT
Rega Planar 2 is a classic turntable that sounds engaging and looks fantastic. It feels very expensive and well made. It is easy to set up and use. Its only weak point is the stock Rega Exact cartridge, which is easily upgradeable. The Rega Planar 2 can easily be the best turntable under $1000.

With this revamped turntable, Rega has really done justice to one of its most legendary products. The new Rega Planar 2 looks stunning and sounds even better. Features are a little lacking, but on the whole it’s a terrific buy for the money.
